Fund OpenEMR Certification Together
OpenEMR's ONC certification deadline is December 31, 2025. Meeting these requirements ensures thousands of practices stay compliant, interoperable, and free from vendor lock-in. Stable Production Release (Version 6.0.0)
OpenEMR 6.0.0 was released on 1/5/21. Here is a list of new features in this version. It is compatible with PHP versions 7.3 - 8.0, MariaDB versions 10.2 - 10.5, MySQL versions 5.7 - 8.0 (note that for MySQL 8 will need default-authentication-plugin=mysql_native_password setting). If possible, the project does recommend use of MariaDB instead of MySQL.
