I earned an associates degree in health information technology at Suffolk County Community College. I continued taking mini courses to earn credential. I earned the RHIT, CCS, CPC and COC credential.

I received training in inpatient coding from Medpartners University. I am continuing my training with the American Association of Medical Coding Professionals. I am enrolled in a program from AAPC to removed the apprentice from the CPC and COC credentials and I am also enrolled in AHIMA Vlab.
