I'm a systems guy with 25+ years of experience and have advanced skill-sets in coding for and the administration of many platforms from UNIX(AIX/Solaris/HPUX) to Linux and Windows. I've recently started working for my first health-care company as a core architect and have discovered a lot of needs in the area of EMR data standards and interoperability.
OpenEMR is the platform I've chosen as a place to start the dive into discovery around this particular concept.
