I work in government IT, currently for a local mental/behavioral health agency in California, as well as for the U.S. Army Reserve.  While deployed to Kuwait 2009-2010 as a Combat Medic, I served as the company's Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care (MC4).

My first goal with OpenEMR is to customize it for mental/behavioral health clinicial and billing needs in California.  Long range goal will be to make OpenEMR more accessible to California non-profit agencies providing medical and mental/behavioral health services to their communities.
