The Address Book

The address book is a searchable repository of contact information for the practice's staff and also for external resources the practice deals with. It is integrated with several other OpenEMR features that communicate with outside entities to which it supplies information, such as the Pharmacy/ Inventory module, Messages, Reminders, Referrals (Transactions), etc.

The feature has not changed much over the years so the interface is nearly the same as seen in this older documentation, and the usage instructions are still good.
