Overview
MU Requirements
Per ONC
- Taken from ONC Final Rule
(5) Problem list. Enable a user to electronically record, change, and access a patient’s active problem list: (i) Ambulatory setting. Over multiple encounters in accordance with, at a minimum, the version of the standard specified in § 170.207(a)(3)
Status
This is currently supported. Note that SNOMED codes can be used to code problems and both the international/US extension are supported in OpenEMR 4.1.2+.
Proposal
This item is already supported. But a good idea would be to add a ct_problem_list flag to the code_types table (and support it in Administration->Lists script) to identify code types to use in the problem lists (then could use this to not allow using other diagnosis code sets, such as ICD9 or ICD10).
